Title: What Happened to Clement? Post by: EDGECRUSHER on June 05, 2006, 12:11:53 am He was having a good game and was taken out in the 7th inning during an at bat. Boston says he wasn't injured, but that's hard to believe.

He's not hurt, but after 93 pitches he was started to slip a little bit and not able to push off. Rather than watch it go downhill quickly, Tito pulled him. Clement should make his next start.

Why waste a good start? In all honesty, Clement shouldn't have faced that next batter, but the ankle didn't get real sore until he was two pitches in.
