This San Diego crowd is PUMPED tonight.  I know who I'm rooting for. 

First play of the game, they fake to LT and get 17 yards on an end-around by Vincent Jackson. 

Donks are going Down tonight......... >:D

And a big bomb to Vincent Jackson draws a pass interference penalty.  San Diego is knocking at the door early on.  

Chump Champ Bailey is headed to the locker room, as the Chargers take a 3-0 lead!!!!

And word on the TV is Champ Bailey's return is questionable.  Wouldn't surprise me if Phillip Rivers starts picking on his replacement. 

Tatum Bell busts a 21 yard TD run but the Donkos miss the PAT.  Donks up 6-3. 

And Rivers to Jackson again for a big bomb!!!  Champ Bailey on the coverage. 

Rivers runs a keeper for a first down, and gets more tapped on thanks to DJ Williams helmet-to-helmet hit. 

TOUCHDOWN LT!!!!!  Chargers up 10-6. 

Chargers D stops the Donkos.  First play after the punt, Rivers runs the play action and burns the Donkos secondary for another long pass play!!!!

Start of the second quarter. 

Holy Crap!!!!!!  Rivers throws a beauty of a rainbow pass to two Chargers in the end zone.  Tomlinson and Manumaleuna collide, but Manumaleuna STILL manages to corral it!!!!

Chargers up 17-6. 

Jacob Hester, the rookie from LSU, catches a nice swing pass from Rivers for a first down.  This kid is now their starting FB, and is doing very well.  If anyone knows how to perform with a lot at stake, it's him. 

Nicely executed reverse to Vincent Jackson!!!  First and goal Chargers!!!

Denver is so pathetic.

Touchdown Chargers!!!!!!!  LT busts in from the 4, dragging three tacklers with him!!!!!

Chargers up 24-6 with just over 3 minutes to go in the half.  

Ed Hochuli will be able to breathe a sigh of relief if the Chargers win this one.

Looked like a TD pass from Jay Cutler to Tony Scheffler, but the officials ruled him out.  However, looking at the replay, both feet came down in.  The play is being reviewed and should be overturned.

Wow!!!  The play stands as called!!!

And that play not being overturned was a major break for the Chargers!!!  Paul Oliver just picked off a Jay Cutler pass in the end zone!!!!   

The third quarter begins with San Diego still leading 24-6

Running and juking his way downfield, Denver takes the second half opening kickoff and drives for a TD that only ate 2:13 off the clock.

And LT busts up the middle for a long gain!!!  He's looking like the old LT tonight!!!!

And Darren Sproles proves once again how dangerous he is with that screen pass!!!!

Touchdown San Diego!!!!!!!

Denver fumbles the kickoff but recovers, then Jay Cutler's first pass is deflected and picked off by Luis Castillo!!!!!!!

And LT quickly answers with his third TD of the night!!!!!!!!!

Man, San Diego is playing like that divisional title is theirs for the taking!!!!!

Chargers up 38-13

And Denver puts together a clock killing drive that reaps..... NOTHING!!!!  That's right.  They went for it on fourth down twice.  The second time, Brandon Stokely dropped a well thrown ball!!!!!

Chargers take over deep in their own territory.

How bout them Broncos!!!  ;D

And the third quarter ends with LT going to the locker room.  

Did he get hurt? (I'm not watching the game)

He might've.  I'm keeping an eye on it.

And Cutler drives the Donkos for another TD.  Tony Scheffler catches his third TD of the year..... all against San Diego. 

Donkos convert a 2 pointer, and have pulled to within 38-21.   

I'm following your commentary. My wife watched the game with me and the crew. I'm not pushing my luck, as much as I'd like to see the Donkos get trashed.  ;D

Hold on, and win it, Chargers!!!!

LT on his way back on the field. 

And with LT on the sidelines, Sproles takes the handoff and cuts to the left for a blazing 37 yard run!!!  First and goal, Chargers. 

Touchdown!!!!   Sproles fights his way in behind that mammoth left side of his O Line!!!!!

Chargers are up 45-21.

Tony Scheffler catches a Jay Culter pass at the Charger 10, and gets JACKED UP!!!!!!  He drops the pass on third down. 

Fourth down, Marshall is wide open, but he trips over his own feet and can't catch up to the ball.  Donkos turn it over on downs for the second time tonight. 

Behind the duo of Jacob Hester and Darren Sproles, the Chargers have taken the ball to the Donkos 6 at the 2 minute warning

Update on LT:  He suffered a mild abdominal strain.  With a playoff game next week, and the Chargers currently holding a 24 point lead, it's safe to say we will not see him again tonight. 

Touchdown by the rookie FB Jacob Hester!!!!   With less than 1:30 left, this puts the final nail on the coffin!!!!!

Chargers 52  Donkos 21. 

And the final gun sounds.  Shannahan could not wait to get off that field after getting 52 points hung on his defense with a divisional title at stake. 

Life has to be just awful now if you're a Donkos fan.  Signing off now. 

Yay!!!!!!!!! They held them under 60!

Shame of the game goes to the refs.  They were non-existent out there.  How are the Broncos expecting to make the playoffs without the officiating presence?   ;D
