Title: Stephen Hill?
Post by: Diehard_Dolfan on March 22, 2012, 02:43:38 am
What do you guys think about Hill added to our receiving core?

He comes from Georgia Tech and is raw but, that's what they said about Calvin Johnson and we all know how he's turned out!  He's a lot like Johnson (big and fast) being 6'4" and running a 4.3 40 yd dash.

I'm just saying...

No no no as a Georgia Tech grad who follows the team very closely I can tell you if you were frustrated with Marshal, Hill is even worse. He is a head case who will make a spectacular catch then drop wide open passes. Trust me on this one he is NOWHERE  near the talent of Calvin Johnson or Demerius Thomas.

Depends on the round he's available in.

Depends on the round he's available in.

He is projected first round after his combine performance apparently the talking heads do not watch tape.

Blackmon is a better WR, and I'm I'm favor of trading up a spot or two to get him. Miami has two extra draft picks from the Marshall trade. They should be used to help fill the role he left. -EK

If Blackmon is gone?

From what I saw at combine he looks worth a 1st round... but who am I?     I'm banking on his size, speed, and what the other two from GT have done recently in the NFL.

Miami is at 8. They don't need to move up much to get him, if at all. He should be there at 5-6. -EK

I like Sanu from Rutgers more than Hill

Sanu had a poor 40 time at the combine but at his pro day made up for it with a 4.4 run. Big kid too
