The Gator Chomp squeaked by Silent Night in round 1, 6-5. http://www.thedolphinsmakemecry.com/forums/index.php?topic=22701.0 The Tomahawk Chop beat out Howard's Rock, 7-3. This matchup of similar traditions for in-state rivals was completely unintentional. I hope it doesn't just devolve into people voting for which team they like more. Also, as Phish said, the overhead shots showing the crowd really emphasize the movement. It's harder to see the Gator Chomp.

Us Hurricane fans hate both these guys but we hate the Gators more than the Seminoles. That being said, it's pretty obvious who the "IT" team is. Have a vote like this back in 2008/2009 and I'll bet the results will be very different. The Canes and Noles play every year and have a decent rivalry going. I can't say the same about the Gators. They would rather play an FCS team than the Hurricanes because they are too scared. |
