LOL Stunning that the Giants don't know the history of Smith, since he did play in the same stadium for the Jets. I'm no huge fan of Eli, but he's much better than Geno. The Giants have many issues, Eli is way down the list.

Or at least that was my theory until I saw the Giants' schedule. After the Raiders this weekend, they face the 'boys and the Eagles, both away. Not ideal. Maybe Cardinals at home for Christmas? The coach apparently told him they'd keep him as the starter to keep the streak alive and then pull him to play the others. Eli declined. It's the equivalent of taking a deep shotgun snap and tossing a shuttle pass to a receiver behind the line of scrimmage on the last play of the game to keep a reception streak alive. It's a joke.
