Smokey & the Bandit has been on TV a lot lately. I'll have to pull out my dvd of Deliverance in his memory, that's a great movie. My question from that movie though, is the hillbilly killed on top of the rock cliffs the same guy that was part of the rape? During my teen years, he made shlock rom-coms and family films, like Cop and a Half. He just wasn't on my radar until about college age when he started making disturbing dramas again.
