Article says hand should heal by week 1. But lets pretend that is overly optimistic and won’t be healthy until week 3. If he wasnt suspended and had to sit the first two games for injury he counts against the 53, but being suspended instead he doesnt count towards 53

He's not allowed to let his hand heal while he's suspended. >:D |
