I cannot run or swim. Both feel like they're happening in mud.
Same for me with running. I end up trying to use my arms and like pull myself along. Weird. I can't ever remember trying to swim or having an issue with that. Can't really think of any special abilities I've ever had. I don't remember ever flying or trying to fly. I've had a lot of embarrassing dreams like finding myself at school or work without a shirt for some reason.

Rd 1 (11): Spencer Fano, OT, Utah - From what I've seen, he's a good one. Rd 2 (43): Kenyon Sadiq, TE, Oregon - Wasn't planning on mocking TE this early, but didn't expect the top TE in this class to fall to this spot. Rd 3 (75): Connor Lew, OC, Auburn - If I'm focusing a little on the line, the top C in the class here makes a lot of sense Rd 3 (87): Julian Neal, CB, Arkansas - Best CB left on my board. This is where I pay for focusing on the OL early. Rd 3 (90): Malachi Lawrence, EDGE, UCF - Happy to see him here, doubt he'll last this long in April. UCF didn't have a great year, but Lawrence sure did... Rd 4 (111): Drew Allar, QB, Penn St - Someone to give a little comp to Ewers.
You're a little light defensively for my taste, but like you said, if you are going to focus on the line, you are going to have to take it in the shorts somewhere else, so I'm ok with this especially if you pick up a few more defensive players (maybe a safety) in rounds 5-7.

I always hand out yearly raises in February, so, it's never a frugal month for me.

I did some budget work today. I learned some things about my electric bill during December and my water use, in general.
I found that my car insurance offered a rebate due to a slow hurricane season and some kind of class action payout. But the big win was calling my cable company and getting my monthly bill lowered by 35 for the exact same service.

Surprised they don't let you pre-order it. Allowing pre-orders would not solve this problem, as these sneakers all have limited production runs. So pre-orders would simply shift the traffic from "the day of release" to "the day pre-orders become available." They'd still sell out just as quickly.

Spider, it doesn't sound like you do this at all -- the budgeting and sharing is a big part of it, as is the food. The tracking the daily spending on a spreadsheet is worthwhile, as well -- and ties to the budget. I get it; the budgeting is an integral part of the "Frugal February" exercise. I'm just saying that I don't think it would make much of a difference in my spending, because (outside of take-out lunches, the cost of which I have previously calculated and consider an acceptable tradeoff for quality of life) I already follow the "spending rules" for Frugal February basically year-round.

Repost: So the key to dreaming is to realize that expectations become reality; like some comic-book character that I can't recall, events are determined by your belief in them.
In the past, I did a lot of research on lucid dreaming (a dream in which you know it's a dream); it's a pretty interesting subject. A common theme in my older dreams was that I frequently had the ability to slowly levitate... later, I read that other people dreamt that they could swim through the air, or imagine that there was an invisible force coming out of their hands that pushed them up and away. So I started dreaming that I could fly like Neo (from the Matrix), and now I can fly pretty damned fast in my dreams (as opposed to the slow levitation from before).
The cool thing is that I've done it enough that I can also fly in a lot of non-lucid dreams. The problem is that sometimes, doubt starts to creep in, and I start to lose my flying ability. So it's very much dependent on the strength of your convictions.
I rarely have "nightmares" any more, because whenever I feel the kind of abject terror that accompanies nightmares, I tend to realize it for what it is, and then it turns into more of an action flick. I used to just freeze whoever is following me, but (again) if I am not completely convinced that they can't break out, they break out. So now I tend to just throw them really far away (like past the horizon).
Lucid dreaming is a very interesting experience. In order to have one, you need to train yourself to perform what's called a "reality test." There are certain things that don't work properly in dreams, and anytime you think you might be dreaming, you just perform a reality test and if it fails, game on. Here are some of my favorites:
- Light switches: normally, a light switch will work in a dream, but if you flick a light switch on and off really fast, your brain can't handle it and it'll just stop working. - Reading: if you read a piece of paper, then look away and look back, the paper will contain completely different text. - Clocks: if you look at the time on a clock, then look away and look back, it'll be a completely different time.
The latter is the one I use the most, as I always wear a watch (once, my brain tried to trick me by getting rid of my watch when I tried to do a reality test; I wasn't fooled).
The "comic-book character I can't recall" is Green Lantern, whose abilities are fueled by willpower and the strength of his belief in them. This is exactly how abilities in dreams work.

As for the coffee thing, Sibster, $1 + tax daily is about $30 for the month and I'm sure you can make drip coffee for less. ...but do you. I don't want you not to get the benefits of this over $1 coffee. But I wouldn't do it, for me.
Here's the thing. It's what I do normally. I don't have a coffeemaker at home. I used to a while back but it wasn't doing coffee the way Mickey D's does theirs.

Dreams are strange. They're like 6 different movies randomly spliced together with no rhyme or reason. Weird shit LOL

I have been able to levitate (not really fly), but kinda float in dreams throughout my life. I have had limited control at best and it's always a limited time (or it seems that way because it wakes me up to notice it.)
I cannot run or swim. Both feel like they're happening in mud.
