We beat two good teams, so I'm going to do the natural thing: overreact into thinking we're a much better team than we are.  Join me.

If the first few weeks of the season are any indication, our schedule is EASY EASY EASY.  We play a ton of crap teams, and some other middle of the road teams that I think are beatable.

@ Texans - They are winless.  Their defense blows.  Winable, for sure.
Ravens - Same record as us.  Good defense, but we beat them last year.
Bills, @ Bills - I think it's possible that we split with them.
@ Broncos - Most likely a loss.
Seahawks - They suck.  Beatable, and at home.
Raiders - They also suck and are in shambles...and at home again.
Patriots - Even though we beat them once, I expect a loss.
@ Rams - The Rams are awful. Win.
49ers - A team kinda similar to us.  But winable at home.
@ Chiefs - The Chiefs are the worst team in the league and STILL overrated.
@ Jets - Another team at about our level, but it's away, so I'll assume a loss.

That means that we're playing some of the worst teams in the league:
Texans, Seahawks, Raiders, Rams, Chiefs (and I'd argue Niners, but we'll make them in the middle category)

Middle teams:
Bills twice, Ravens, Niners, Jets

Good teams:
Patriots (just due to respecting last year's team), Broncos

We could potentially get a good amount of wins, looking at how bad our competition is.

Houston - we always find a way to lose to the Texans.  Not only that but we tend to play down to our competition.  This will be a loss.
Baltimore - I expect a defensive stalemate ending in a crippling loss at home
Buffalo - Not as good as their record, overachievers, depends on how long Edwards will sit out.  Split win at home.
Denver - has no defense.  We'll probably lose just because its a road game.
Seattle - what a terrible team.  Win
Oakland - a better team than most people give credit for, this will be close but a good home win.
Patriots - Just don't think they'll do it again.  Loss
Rams - The worst team in the league.  Easy win
49ers - also better than people realize.  Home game makes this a win
Chiefs - Terrible team that shows flashes of brilliance.  Expect a win
Jets - in New York.  In December.  Loss.

My original (unofficial) prediciton of 8-8 still holds up.

Brian, is that a prediction or a guess?

We beat two good teams, so I'm going to do the natural thing: overreact into thinking we're a much better team than we are.  Join me.

  Okay, I'm jive.

@ Texans - Their defense is ranked 26th against the run.  Win.

Ravens - A rookie quarterback, and the defensive players left over from last year's scheme are familier with how Cam Cameron calls plays.  Win

Bills, @ Bills - The Bills are good.  Trent Edwards is a damn good quarterback, I'll think we'll get swept by the Bills.

@ Broncos - Two words, Jay Cutler.  Loss.

Seahawks - The Seahawks are bad this year.  Win.

Raiders - There won't be a repeat of the nightmare that was the "Daunte Culpepper Game."  Easy win.

Patriots - Loss

@ Rams - The Rams are absolutely putrid.  This will be a blowout.

49ers - Unlike Mike Martz, I'm not sold on J.T. O'Sullivan.  Win.

@ Chiefs - Another awful team.  Although, they're not as bad as the Lions or Rams.  Easy win.

@ Jets - New York in December, and Favre will probably get another lucky TD pass like he did in Week 1.  Loss.

I'll play!

@ Texans - we should be able to sqeak one out. 3-2
Ravens - Same record as us, but the D will hamstring us.  3-3
Bills, @ Bills - I think is a split base don the recent injuries last week 4-4
@ Broncos - Tough to win in mile high.  4-5
Seahawks - Better than their record.   4-6
Raiders - Does Al Davis coach them?  5-6
Patriots - Hard fought - I can see them sticking one to us.  5-7
@ Rams - A team in the mold of the 2007 Dolphins.  6-7
49ers - Hard to say - they're so up and down, but probably a win.  7-7
@ Chiefs - The return of Damon Huard . . .  win.  8-7
@ Jets - Favre's last game ever after this season's stress.  Loss. 8-8

So,   8-8.  Big improvement over last year, although if a couple of things go our way (i.e. Seahawks, Ravens, or Patriots) we could easily make a playoff run . . .  Did I just say that?

My turn!

@Texans - We win because of their sucky run D
Ravens- We win because our D will eat Flaco
Bills, @Bills - We split because we'll be on a roll, but lose at Buffalo
@Broncos - We win just because I want to post something that will piss off D_B Evil
Seahawks - We win because they suck right now
Raiders - See above
Patriots - We win because I think they are done as a franchise and they still have to stop the Wildcat
@Rams - See Seahawks and Raiders comment
49ers - We win because of poor QB play
@Chiefs - They suck...We win
@Jets - We win because they barely got by us in the first game as horribly as the phins played and I think by then the Jets will be exposed for the mediocre team they are

Seriously guys...no biased here at all...do I come off as a homer a little bit?  Grin Cheesy

I'll take my turn...... All of these games are winnable, but lets be realistic here.

@Texans - Ronnie will run wild against that defense.  The Wildcat formation will be put into play a lot.  This will be the year we end up with one in the win column against these guys.

Ravens- Another San Diego type game but we'll come out on top

Bills, @Bills - We'll beat them in Miami but lose in Toronto

@Broncos - Jay Cutler will have a field day with our secondary just like Kurt Warner did.  Loss

Seahawks - They are horrible.  Easy win

Raiders - Tough game.  Look for both McFadden and Ronnie to have big days.  Win

Patriots - We destroyed them in their house.  Imagine what will happen in ours?

@Rams - Joey Porter and Matt Roth oughta be licking their chops on this one.  Win

49ers - Another game that will showcase the running backs, but the home field advantage for Miami will tip the scales.

@Chiefs - Another big day for the Dolphins pass rush.  Win

@Jets - New York in December..... loss.

9-3 the rest of the way is a distinct possibility if they keep playing the way they are...... that almost guarantees a playoff spot.
