``It doesn't hurt,'' Hobbs said. ``It amazes me how people react. You would think that this organization hasn't won as much as they have and been successful in the years that they have, and it's a testament to how spoiled they are where expectations are that high that we're not allowed a bad game.''
``I use it as a thing to remember when you are successful and that's how you keep it all in perspective,'' he said calmly, ``because as soon as they're stabbing you in the back, as soon as they're booing at you, whatever, they're ready to pat you again as soon as something'' good happens.

``We chose to do this job. We get paid for it,'' he said. ``You have to take the good with the bad and that's just one of the bad things about the game.''

Good, I think that it was wrong that their were a few so called fans booing.  I guess those were the bandwagon fans that only like the pats when they are winning. Its 1 game 1 loss.  Even if the Pats lose the rest of there games this season thats still your team!! I see the Pats as part of my life just as the sox and celtics.  Win or lose.

Good for Hobbs to call them out!!

I have no problem with booing my team. If they play like they deserve to get booed, then boo the Hell out of them. The Patsies deserved to get booed yesterday because their play was atrocious. Sorry if Ellis got his widdle feelings hurt. Cry Play better next week, and you won't get booed. Cry baby.

``They pay (for) their ticket. They can say what they want to say,'' he said. ``They expect the best out of us, which is good. When you have people with high expectations of you, you tend to meet those expectations.''

And when they don't meet those expectations, or don't even show up to play, fans need to let the boo birds out.

Pats fans know they are in for a long cold winter of mediocrity. The Pats had a good run. You knew it wouldn't last forever. There comes a time when you can't cheat anymore and you need to face reality.  Evil

There's a few things I like as much as being able to torment Patsie fans. They are:

-Being able to torment Jets fans
-Being able to torment Bills fans
-Being able to feed Jtex his own shoe when he makes an ass out of himself

Well, 2 out of 4 aint bad.  Grin

Wait a minute so if New England goes 1-15 and then goes on to have losing season after losing season you will not boo ? Come on because you boo the team doesn't mean you don't love them or pull for them every week. Hobbs needs to suck it up and deal with it.

I've noticed something about Yanks fans and Red Sox fans. Yankee fans will boo ANYONE whom isn't performing. I've been in Yankee Stadium when they've booed Jeter. JETER. I've never heard anyone at Fenway boo any Sox player, even when Manny was being Manny and obliviously tanking it before the trade. To me, that just shows that Yankees fans have more heart, or bigger balls than a lot of other fans out there. There have been times over the last couple of years that I've been in Dolphins stadium, and have just about been the only fan booing.

So you just look for excuses for the loss ,like Tom Brady would have made a difference.
Have you ever considered you were out played and out coached? Weird how New England plays with no extra video help.

Please take note because this is the ONLY time you will see me agree with Pats2006...I never have nor ever will boo any team of mine...whether its the phins, rays, bulls, lightning, or magic...I boo things like bad calls and the opposing team...not like I don't understand why people boo their own team...I just don't do it myself

Hobbs....is the milk in your Lucky Charms a little saltier than usual?  Tears will do that you BIG CRY BABY!

I give you props, Pats, for not being a bandwagon fair-weathered homer.  You need to show your friends up there in the area how to act, and that supporting the team only when they're winning is not what a true fan does.
