Cameron, now the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens, has an assumed edge in preparations this week as he is less than a year removed (fired) from the Dolphins.

Puhhhleeeese. That moron didn't know our strengths and weaknesses when he WAS the coach.  I hope they take all his advice this weekend so we get the edge.  Shocked Cheesy Cheesy

If anything, our defense has the edge on Baltimore.  Cam Cameron doesn't know shit about what the Trifecta runs.

  Let's see:

Camoron was 1-15 as Miami Dolphins head coach.  Cheesy

Cam was 18-39 as the head coach of the University of Indiana.  Cheesy

How will Coach Sparano and Bill Parcells sleep at night knowing they are about to play against this coaching legend and football genius!!!!  Roll Eyes

I'd have to agree. The notion that Cam Cameron knows anything about this team is a joke. There's a new coach, a new system, a new quarterback. With the exception of R&R, there's a lot of change; The O-line plays differently and has a whole new set of players in Smiley and Long. Ndukwe was a Dolphin last year, but not a starter. Fasano is new to the team, so is Bess. And it's not like Camarillo got a lot of playing time under Cam... so on the receiver side, it's basically just Ginn. FB Casey Cramer is new as well.

Starters this year compared to last year: Ronnie Brown, Samson Sateele, Vernon Carey and Ted Ginn. The other 7 starters on offense are new (5) or promoted from backup roles (2).

New coach, new system, new players... hmmm... yeah, I think it's safe to say Cameron has nothing on us.

The edge Cam Cameron needs is on defense, and finding a way to deal with the wildcat....

my money is on direct snap to Ronnie, hand off to Ricky, toss to Chad, pass crossfield to Ronnie in the flats, TOUCHDOWN.

Mark my words Smiley

I don't have time to read the article, but....

Cam does have an edge!

He knows about half of our defensive players weaknesses.  It is also an advantage for him to avoid trends that he had in Miami.  Cam knows exactly what the Dolphins are aware of in terms of his trends.  He may not have been a great head coach but he is a pretty good O-coordinator and I am sure he can figure out a way to use our assumptions against us.

You may say that we actually have an advantage of knowing the way Cam operates.  I would disagree since coordinators can change anything at any time, they can make things look like the trend but not play out that way.  The bigger advantage is knowing personnel which takes much longer to change.

It could be very dangerous for us to assume that we know what his offensive scheme is going to be.  I can really see some of our defensive players overpursuing and being dramatically out of position in this game.  The question is - is Baltimore currently talented enough to capitalize.

The only thing Cam knows is that we have a crappy secondary...hell the whole league knows that...still won't change the fact that the phins are going to eat his rookie QB.

Turns out the Ravens head coach, John Harbaugh, has jumped into the fray and said some shit that fired up Dolphins players who played under Cam.  "He was an effective coach.  He did a great job with what he had to work with."   A "great job"??  Give me a fuckin break!!!

I know why Porter is not pissed...........Cam gave him 20 Million reasons not to be.

Same goes with Mr Ginn and family............14 millions reasons why you will probably see them do a Mid field hug before and after the game. Hell , Ginn should perform oral on the guy, centerfield. I wonder if Cam got a million $$kickback off that contract. At least Porter is starting to payoff.

But I hope the rest shove his reputation down his throat and out of his ass this weekend.  Evil

Yeah, we absolutely need to obliterate Baltimore's offense..... show the NFL and the few remaining doubters here on TDMMC that Cam deserved to be fired.

You guys are getting excited about another fan's article.  You would do better to debate Maine's writings.

Why is it that our castoffs seem to be amazingly competent for the one game that they play us?

First Culpepper, then AJ Feeley, now Cameron.
