Would you consider them the worst team ever, or are they just a bad team with terrible luck (Miami last year)

The man responsible for them losing all 16 games has already been fired.  I think it would justify a firing of the coach though.

The worst team ever? No, I'm not even sure they're the worst team this year... the Rams are really, really bad.

Just to underscore my previous point about the Rams, they have now allowed the 49ers to score 35 points against them in the first half.

That's slightly better than the 40 points the Jets got in the first half last week, but still more than the 24 points the Cardinals scored the week before that (in a single quarter).

It gets even "funnier" if you look at second quarters only:

49ers: 28 points
Jets: 23 points
Cardinals: 24 points

That's some massive second quarter suckitude right there.

Before this round, the Rams have been outscored by -154 points in 9 games (all quarters). That's so much worse than everybody else it isn't even funny. OK, a friend of mine is a huge Rams fan, so it is kinda funny, but still...

I still think that the Bucs are the worst team ever, not just because of their crap record, but of how they lost.  Not only did they suck, but they were full of follies.

Bad team, bad luck. They can score some points, but man, they can't hold anyone on D.

If they lost every game, I'd have to agree. It was like watching high school football (injuries or not). But then, they won that 1 game. IMO you can't be the worst if you win 1, vs. a team that hasn't won any. So Tampa, the crown is still yours!   Grin

Tampa, you will lose your crown when:

a) An expansion team goes winless in a 16 game schedule
    or
b) A non expansion team goes winless in a 16 game schedule

Nice, Hoodie.  Wasn't hard to hit that out of the park with the shitty pitch was it?  Fins last year were competitive for the most part and lost a lot of close games.  TB team was the expansion team I take it and that was in 76.  A lot has changed on the business side of the NFL since then including free agency so...  I haven't seen the Lions this year but they were up by a few TDs in each game the past two weeks and got blown out.  Who scores the first 17 and then gives up the next 35?  Sad, so sad.  And UM sucks ass too.  Maybe the Lions should move back to Portsmouth.

I'm watching Detroit fall apart against the Titans and I don't think I've ever seen as bad a football team.Their punter just shanked one from inside their own 10 for a whopping 12 yard punt.I think we could get 11 guys up from this board and beat the Lions. And memo to all the Culpepper lovers;doesn't he look like the saviour of the franchise. The guy looks just like what he always was--a huge guy that could run his way out of trouble(before he got hurt)that never figured out how to play QB in the NFL.

No question, the Lions are bad.

And... it's always nice when you hit on the "over" in the first half Wink
