Well we received several inches of snow here in NYC last night. For the first time in 5 years the public schools were closed due to snow! It's everywhere, and being a Floridian I LOVE it. It's so pretty and peaceful right now. I'm gonna enjoy it before it gets all muddy and filthy.  Grin

I was going to say this exact thing. I bet it won't be pretty for long in NYC unless you go to the park.

I used to Love it. I do kinda miss it a bit. We lived near a golf course in staten Island and always had a great place to go sledding.

I love it when I hear cities like Boston and New York talk about snow.  The Today Show had a reporter on from Boston that was talking about "the record setting snowfall in Boston...we have surpassed 55 inches for the year."

55 inches?  You're complaining about 55 inches??  Boston is a 90 minute drive from where I live.  We're closing in on 100 inches for the season and there is another storm coming in this weekend.

5 inches in NYC and they shut down the state.  That is a mere dusting!

I can't imagine dealing with snow. Our "cold" weather is making me depressed. I hate wearing real clothes and shoes. I'm a tank top and flip flops type of girl.

No worries Maine, I was just kidding! The snow is now melting and disgusting, it wasn't pretty for very long.
