tubba,

Did you hear the latest on why Ricky wasn't in the game carrying the ball at the end. The Dolphins won't talk about it but he suffered an injury. Don
''t know what it is at this point.

He was nicked up because he hadn't had that many carries in a game since the end of the 2005 season.

I don't think it's anything big.  If he failed another drug test, I'll buy you a beer as well.

I think too much is being put on the fact that Williams is 32... If he had 10 years playing experience then I would totally agree. We are talking about a guy who essentially didnt play for three years(04,06,07) and only averaged 160 carries in 05 and 08.... What makes a 32 year old running back old isnt the age but the accumilation of punishment in practice and games.

He doesnt abuse his body and from all accounts he doesnt booze it up or take advantage of South Beach. He is a very young and fresh 32 year old.

Only time will tell but I think he will be fine especially with only 6 games left in the regular season.

32 is 32 No fountain of youth exist,Healthy eating doesn't stop aging and injury......and Ricky did have 109 carries in the CFL (And Broke his Arm)....NFL's curve of decline starts slow, then suddenly falls off very dramatically.......The saving grace is it's only for a half a season, not the entire season, and hasn't had any major injuries to his legs....Unfortunately,has complained of having injuries to his shoulders since the Wanstedt era...We try to piound Ricky for 20+ carries a game..We'll Break him....

Of course 32 is 32 but I dont think he is the typical 32 year old running back. Healthy eating and yoga doesnt stop aging but it does slow down the effects of aging a bit.

We also have to agree that not playing much in the last 5 years has also reduced wear and tear.

He isnt 24 anymore but he I think we can all agree that he is a young 32.

This is football and injuries will happen. He isnt the the same Ricky that ran for 1,800 yards but I think he will be fine for the remaining 6 games.

My major concern,is Ricky loves to run in the A,and B, gaps compounded by injuries to Olineman, More hits by the DT's...I'd like to see us incorparate Kory Sheets, and Lex Hillard into the the rotation...Ricky is taking the runing snaps, the passing downs, and he's the back that knows the blitz pick ups etc,etc....
