Go Phins!!!!!

WWW
« on: November 24, 2009, 11:15:41 am »

Local radio here in Phoenix is reporting that the Cardinals/Vikings game is being changed to the Sunday Night game here in AZ. If this is true then that means the Phins/Pats game will be moved from the night game to earlier in the afternoon. Not sure if you guys were hearing this or not yet. If true I am happy and sad about this at the same time. I really enjoy going to the primetime games here in AZ but I love it when Phins are on national TV because I can always see the game without having to go to the local bar. Generally when the Cards are home I do not get to watch any other games as I am out tailgating most of the day. Anyways let me know if you guys hear anything!

Apparently, NBC feels that a blow out by the Vikings over the Cardinals would be a better matchup than a first place battle in the AFC East.

The NFL will utilize flexible scheduling on Sundays in Weeks 11-17. Flexible scheduling will ensure quality matchups in all NFL Sunday time slots in those weeks and give teams a chance to play their way onto primetime and into the late-afternoon 4:15 p.m. ET time slot on CBS and FOX.

So, seeing Favre massacre the Cards is a quality matchup? I won't be watching this one.

And its the 1:00 game

the LoveFest continues

I would love to see the Phins smack the Pats for 1st place on that Sunday afternoon, but first have to take care of business against the Bills.

Let's go Phins!!!!!!!!

I would think that IF we beat the Bills and the Pats lose to New Orleans this week that this schedule change would not be upheld.  Based on how it went last year, I am assuming that schedule changes don't have to be two weeks in advance and can be made the week of.

If we lose and/or the Pats win, it is hard to argue with the move.

This sucks.  Though the Cards and Vikes are both good teams, this is likely to be a pretty unimportant game.  Both teams are running away with their divisions.

I'd rather see Colts/Titans than Vikings/Cardinals.

Brett Favre can suck it.  Its all his fault.

They gotta give 12 days notice from what the link says.

I hope the Pats lose Monday night and the Fins beat Buffalo.  AFC east lead on the line next week.

NBC can suck it if they think Farve and the overrated Cardinals are more important than the AFC east lead game. Angry

Just like a 125-108 game in the NBA the "fans" want to see a 48-41 game in the NFL.
