I also care to a degree.  I am proud that the Dolphins have the only undefeated season, but if the Colts or the Saints had done it, I would not have been particularly upset by it.

I would have cared much less had the Colts or Saints done it than if the Patriots had done it...

As a true blue Dolfan of course I care deeply about our 1972 undefeated team. One of sports all-time great achievements unquestionably. However I would have gladly traded 3 of those regular season wins for the 3 Super Bowls we lost. I rooted just as hard for our team a couple of years ago when we were 1-15 as I did last year when we won the AFC East. I have been a fan since year one of their existence and will be forever and a day be a Dolfan. The 1972 team was one of the NFL's greatest team ever and should be treated with the respect they so richly deserve. It matters little if some team should break their record of 17-0 someday it will never detract from perhaps the greatest season in football history.
