I saw something about it on the bottom line ticker.

MLB - Pat White = Dan Marino?

After Pat White was cut by the Dolphins last week, the Dolphins 2009 2nd-round pick signed a minor-league baseball contract with the Royals today. White won 2 baseball state titles as a high school pitcher/outfielder and was drafted by the Angels in 2004 and 2007, the Reds in 2008 and the Yankees in 2009. This isn't the first time the Royals and Dolphins have been linked through a crossover athlete. In 1979, the Royals drafted a flame-throwing pitcher from Pittsburgh in the 4th round, but he decided to play college football instead. That turned out to be a good decision...for future Dolphins star and Hall-of-Famer Dan Marino. Maybe this is the second half of a bizarro Royals-Dolphins trade that was delayed for three decades.

Pat White had said via Twitter a long time ago that he would rather play baseball than wide receiver, so this is no surprise to me.
