I saw it mentioned on CNN, but everyone was rescued.  I don't believe that it was a spill...just an explosion.

I heard from a co-worker that they saw a 1-mile-long oil slick.  Not sure how true it is.

There is a 1 mile oil slick. Not a lot of details out yet.

I heard by the time the coast guard got to the rig, they didn't see the oil spill on the surface. Will try to find report if there is one but I heard that part on NPR.
