What a waste, I thought this is the kind of thing that we were trying to get away from.....wasting picks.

Every team makes draft day mistakes and "waste picks."  There are only two men in the NFL with balls to admit those mistakes and cut the player instead of hang on to them even though they continue to suck wasting a roster spot, in some egotistical desire to "look good" by keep the majority of their draft picks.

Those two men are Bill Belichick and Bill Parcells.

The rest of them keep players like Gholston and McKnight on the team even thought they are shit and add nothing to the team.  Or they trade away Sage Rosenthal because he squarely beat out Travis Jackson in camp, but it is embarrassing to have a player your didn't draft beat out a guy you did.

Although I don't necessarily disagree about Gholston, hasn't he looked good as a DE?

It's easy to cut #2 & #3 when they suck.  Maybe Pat White will end up on the practice squad because I think he could be an interesting player.

I've watched a few Viking preseason games, and Sage played far and away better than anyone else.  The Vikes will miss him.  I don't think there's much chance of Favre lasting the season.

He has improved from absolutely crap who is a total waste of space on the bus to an almost useful backup that is almost as good as the majority of DE that got cut today and came in as UDFA.

People keep bringing this up, but Pat White is not eleigible for the practice squad.
