That's exactly what I was talking about when I said Sparano thinks a 9 yard pass on 3rd an 8 is aggressive.  No, it's not.  That's common sense.  I can call that play, that doesn't make me a good OC.  Being able to react to what the defense is doing, making changes on the fly that work, putting in a new wrinkle that the defense hasn't seen from you all year, these are the things that make an OC worth his salt or not.

I don't necessarily disagree with you, but in effect what the Lee/Henning did was just take the (3) exact plays Lee had been running in college and run them in the NFL.

Creativity speaks to adjusting... not just carrying one thing over once.
