I've picked the 10 based on the article above.  I was surprised that Lebron didn't make the list, so I've allowed for an 11th option - Other.  If you select other, please let us know who.

You can vote for 2.

Nice poll, very well done.

I picked two people based on my personal feelings about certain items.

1:  Michael Vick.  I am all for redemption and second chances.  What he allowed to happen under his watch, for me PERSONALLY, is not something I will ever forgive.  I used to be a Vick fan.  I support his efforts to become better than he was, but I will never like the guy again.

2:  Tiger Woods.  Cheating is one thing.  The method in which this man cheated, and the health risks he placed on to his wife, are beyond reproach. One of my clinicals during my undergrad schooling was at a free clinic in Portland a lot of years ago.  On Tuesday nights we offered free STD screenings and counseling.  I can't tell you the amount of married men we saw in that place who would be diagnosed with (disease here).  They would beg us for treatment to bring home to their spouses, only at that time realizing what they've done.

It's the old saying in the 50's for me with Woods:  Go out alone, you're a hero.  Take someone with you and you're a dirt bag.

Those are my personal feelings on those two.

I voted for Jerry Jones and Terrell Owens.  The massive egos of these two just turn me off.

I think that right now it's LeBron.  Has to be.  He gets booed everywhere he goes.  He's in Kobe-land from 5 years ago, only he hasn't (allegedly) raped anyone.

I really need to start reading the first post in a poll thread before voting...or at least the directions for the poll. This is the second time I've only voted for one option in a poll that allows for multiple votes.

I voted for Mark McGwire, but if I could adjust my vote, I'd add Jerry Jones as well.

I picked Vick and Lebron as the other.

Like Maine said, I am all for second chances, but not after you tortured and kills puppies and dogs. And remember, it WAS torture for a lot of them. No bullet to the back of the head, he picked them up and slammed them against the concrete. He drowned them. He shocked them. He is a monster.

Lebron is just a douche who never grew up. Very talented of course, but a douche nonetheless.

I picked Mike Vick.....for obvious reasons. I think the acts he took part in make him a real low life in my book. I am glad he got a second change as I feel people make mistakes but in the same sense I have no respect for him.

Other - Lebron James. Phenomenal player probably going to be one of the best of all time.....total egotistical douchebag who I have no respect for.

I put Al Davis and Other: Phil Jackson.  I think that his "zenmaster" crap is really just him being a dick.  I think that he is never genuine.  Even when he's giving a compliment or praising a team to the media, it's just to build them up so that they fall hard when they lose.

I'm not sure how this list was put together, but it seems a bit "dated".  Bobby Knight and Mark McGwire over Rex Ryan and Lebron James?  I was also surprised that OJ wasn't on the list, but maybe he's the consensus number 1 and we are really talking about 2nd place.

When I initially saw McGwire, I thought "who hates McGwire?"........only to find that Stroke voted for him.  Stroke, what is it about McGwire that has him at the top of your list?

McGwire makes no sense cause Bonds falls in that same categeory and beats him at "cheating" and drugs. At least McGwire came clean about it. Bonds is still lying to everyones face.

If Bonds was on the list, I'd have given him McGwire's vote...I dislike him even more than McGwire for the same thing. Likewise, if I'd taken time and contemplated my choices, rather than squeezing the entire decision-making process and post into a 1 minute burst between jobs at work, McGwire's vote might have gone to someone else entirely.

That said, I think McGwire is a two-faced POS who lies by default and only came clean long after the heat was off...and even then, tried to justify it all on health reasons and claiming that they didn't help him hit HR's. His recent admission smelled distinctly like a man who desperately wants some of the steroid taint to wash off so he can get into the Hall of Fame.

Zdeno Chara - I hate him.

My favorite professional athlete currently playing in the Boston/NE market... His winning a third straight "hardest shot" title (105.9 mph...yikes) at the skills competition was the only thing I saw worth cheering for at the all star game.
