I Like...But I suck at

Kind of the opposite of what you're a natural/good at.....(which I'm utterly shocked not one of the ego maniacs here said Sex....But then again the question was good,and not great! )

So let's restrict this to things you like,or attempt....to avoid those answers like...Picking up super models,Sex with super models,etc.etc....

So what do you suck at,but like?

I have to say I could have an extremely long list here...(I'll hit the top ones)

Social Situations - If everyone here at TDMMC were in a big room,It might surprise most people,I'd be really quiet.I'd probably be watching everything going on in the room,and taking in everything.Basically the guy in the corner holding up the ceiling.

Relationships/Dating - I've always been fascinated with human nature,and why we do what we do.So it makes dating /relationships extremely hard for me...It makes no sense to me,and add being a social neophyte doesn't exactly help either.My old job,probably was the nail in the coffin....

Playing basketball - I used to like to play pick up basketball,Horse etc...But but I sucked horribly at it....


Music,singing,musical talent This is something I love,but truely suck at...I can't sing,and waaaaay back in the day I could play a little guitar,and thought of myself as a drummer at some points in my life  ....

In reality....not so much,no matter how hard I try....

Chalk me up for anything musical. I listen to music all the time, but cannot sing or play anything. I'll think of more later.

I just thought of another. Getting onto the same level as kids. Maybe if I had some it would be easier, but I have a hard time relating to my friends kids. They are like alien beings.

Music - I have tried to play guitar at a few times in my life.  I still want to, but I find it SO difficult.

Sports - I like to play pretty much any sports, but I suck at all of them.

ROLLER HOCKEY

I'm a really good athlete, and I've played a lot of sports throughout my life, all at a competetive level.  However, I SUCK at roller hockey.  I just can't skate....and it's frustrating because I have great reflexes and see the game well, I just can't get there in time.  It's embarassing.

GUITAR

I'm a professional musician, I can pick up any instrument and not sound like a total newb on it, but for some reason I just can't figure out the guitar.  I find the neck/frets to be laid out not in a logical manner, and my brain just can't figure it out.

Golf.....I love to be out on the course with some buddies drinking beer and shooting the links.....however I am the worst golfer EVER!!!!! I know one really does not translate to the other but it would just seem natural that because I can smash softballs 325+ feet without thinking about it that I should be able to hit a golfball more than 25 yards. I have played for over 10 years now and I still can not play for shit. It's getting to the point that I might just give it up because I always seem to hold others back.

^^It's probably BECAUSE you can smash a softball 325 feet. I played a lot of baseball and softball and everytime I tried to play golf I had the worst slice ever. I have been told by a few people it's because I swing a golf club like I swing a baseball bat. I can't really confirm that's the issue, but it makes sense to me. I just gave up trying to play golf. Maybe now that I don't play softball anymore I should try golf again and fix my swing.

I have heard the same....When I am ready to give up playing softball then I will try to focus all of my efforts on Golf I guess.
