instead of saying who do you want/think is going to win (you can post here it anyways) but i want to ask,

What would help the dolphins out more in the short term or long term, a jets win or a pats win?

Long -term I agree. Short-term you never want to play a team after they lose, esp. a division game.

With so much time to rest and prepare, there is no reason the Fins should not dominate a Jets team after they just finished playing the Pats. IMO, the jests game should be a royal AW!

As you have already lost to the Jets once and have not yet played the Patriots yet, the Dolphins need more Jets loses than Pats loses.

Sure, but if the belief is that the Jets are going to lose more games for the season than the Patriots, a Pats loss here would be preferable.
