According to Albert Breer twitter account...
Jets have asked for and received permission to interview Dolphins assistant GM Brian Gaine for their GM spot. Interview expected this week.

Murphy's law ... Dude will probably go to New York and select the next Tom Brady and Wes Welker so we can endure another decade of abuse from one of our division rivals.

Gaine is going to get a job at some point in this league as a GM. Well thought of in many circles. For his sake i hope its not the Jets because that organization is TOXIC right now with a lunatic owner and head coach.  But if offered he can't pass it up.
