To me this is a non-story.  Honestly.

People are taking an off-the-cuff comment from Mike Dee and spinning it into a "news story" saying that the Dolphins are basically in negotiations with Los Angeles right now.

I don't think there's anything to this, other than Dee trying to express his disappointment publicly.

Dee was specifically asked about moving the Dolphins to Los Angeles, and as ESPN notes, Dee said Ross has no intention of relocating the team. However, he will sell the franchise if the stadium issues are not addressed.

So if the stadium isn't addressed we get a new owner and all bets are off. Isn't this what we've been hearing all along?

It's a non story till a group from LA offers Ross a boatload of money to buy the team.  Then it becomes a story! And with groups in LA fighting to get a stadium built....this is a little bit of a story whether you want to believe it or not!

I have no problem with this story... It gives the overreactionaries something to sink their teeth into during the offseason, so it does provide some entertainment value.

I feel something like this will cause a distraction for Mr. Ross and the organization. Will this turn out to be what they talk about all season( Miami to LA)?

I live in NY, so it only affects me in that I don't get to see them play the Jets twice a year. Other than that, I see just as many of their games if they moved to LA.

Still, Miami is a much better location. The fans are still garbage either way.

I think this will just be a bluff to get public funding. It's not the Dolphins fault that Miami agreed to such a ridiculous deal with an evil owner. Don't take that out on a legitimate sports franchise that can bring in money as opposed to stealing it.
