Today running errands,I saw it hit 140,000..I pulled over and took a quick picture with my phone....
(Deleted image that was no longer there)

Sorry it's been moy own little countdown...When was it going to happen.... Embarrassed

Am I reading this right?  It took you 4.5 years to put 9K miles on your truck?  Is this your only vehicle?

^^^ Thanks, I was wondering the same thing. Figured maybe Lil_B had another vehicle or cycle or something he used more regularly.

Yes, you're reading it right...and the reason it was sort of a Kodak moment for me.....

Technically I own 3 vehicles, one I bought for my Mom,and I'm the top title holder (but it's her truck, I had to own it because She wasn't there when I bought it,because it was a surprise birthday present). Then I own a 1971 GMC truck, that is about to be retitled as a historical vehicle, because I drive it so little ,Less than 100 miles the past 2 years....

Within a 1-4 miles radius of my shack (in which I'm a homebody)...I have my work,(the last place I worked too)2 Walmart super centers,a Kmart, Big lots,4 Grocery stores (2 Dillons,2 Price cutters),A dollar general,3-4 flea markets, A movie theater (if I ever went) Just about every fast food joint (A few multiple times,2 Sonics, 3 Mcdonalds,2 BK's,2 steak and shakes off the top of my head).....My last job,Once I got to work, I used a company vehicle, and when I have to go anywhere now, 99.9% it's more than just me going, so we don't take my truck.

I put more miles recently, when I worked 2 jobs for awhile...

Too bad I don't run like Buddagirl,I would put even less miles on my truck, and be in great shape!

That panel makes me miss my Avalanche.  Sad

You drive 2k miles a year?  Lucky...I do that in a 6 weeks.

Shit. I'm already at 15k on a brand new car bought in March 2010. Not even 1 full year yet.

Since moving to Albany, I drive about 1000 miles per year on my car.  The majority of my trips are measured in feet not miles as I need to move the car for the street cleaning weekly.

I've had my Jetta for 2 years and it just turned over 10,000 miles. I don't drive anywhere.

I wish I could keep my milage down. I have 43,000 on my truck I bought two years ago and 18,000 on my Camro I purchased in April of last year.

True but my wife and I also work 30 miles from home which round trip daily adds up. I also do a lot of off roading in my truck on weekends so I am sure that does not help either.

Ok, so I pulled into my drive way this afternoon, and it was 144,999...Ran to get gas for the lawn mower, rolled 145,000 at the stop sign by my house....

I've been driving more by the quick 5,000 miles in such a short time,(compared to the last milestone) I've been driving my truck more at work, driving my Mom to her doctor appointments, and going down to my "wife's " house has really added some miles quickly.

Hopefully this isn't a T&A milestone post.... Cheesy
