How many times did he miss a wide open receiver?  If he hits that pass to Wallace yesterday we are talking about a wild card game.

Is he the only QB to ever miss a pass? He is a young QB who improved greatly from year 1 to year 2. He is getting better you don't screw with that at all. Not with a young QB.

Miami beat 4 of the 6 teams in the AFC in the playoffs....yes there is bad too and work that needs to be done on this team, but don't forget the "good" from this season as well. Yes, there was alot of good. Don't mess with something that doesn't need messing with

I don't see so many bad play calls.  I see terrible execution.  Sherman gets Wallace open twice per game deep, but the ball is missed.  He can't effectively call run plays, since every play is stopped at the line.

I think people just want someone to blame because we don't score points.  But it's football 101 that this stuff starts at the line.  Without protection to run or ability to keep the D in check by running the ball, no amount of play calling can cover that stink.  And we STILL have basically a 4,000 yard 2nd year QB.

Sherman was dumb at times. The first Buffalo loss was all him. Why they are throwing with a lead and not running out the clock late in that game is beyond stupid. He could have taken a knee, punted, and Miami still wins that game. The Ravens game we didn't try to run the ball at all. I mean like we had almost no rushing attempts.  WITH THAT SAID....its tough to call plays when your o-line is god awful and can't do anything. Can't run the ball and your QB is getting killed week after week.  If the o-line was better I think less heat would be on Sherman as at times the offense wouldn't have looked so bad. But Sherman was really bad at times too.

Yeah ...  I'm not a huge Sherman fan. I think he's too conservative. Maybe not in the "punting isn't a bad thing" category while our defense wins it for us but he sure doesn't like to take any chances. We didn't' even try to go deep early in the season, he won't move receivers around  and him forcing Tannehill to stay in the pocket seems to hurt as much as it helps. I think he's one of those coaches who stifles all creativity and leaves you with nothing but a vanilla offense.

I see this all the time in youth soccer and coincidentally it's one the things that Irving Fryer loved about playing for Shula. he said he felt the hand cuffs came off and he allowed you to be creative with the QB. Football is much more than just run here and turn left or stop and go.

why? That would be the worst thing ever! Want to totally divide your locker-room for no reason?

The kid took close to 60 sacks and still threw for more TD's than INT's and almost 4000 yards. No reason to screw with his head

He attempted 588 passes and still did not eclipse 4000 yards. An Any/A of 5.0 for the year is not good.

More yards than Eli, Flacco, and Luck. And all were in the ballpark with "attempts"....614 Flacco, 570 Luck, 551 Eli
