I could not stand Ray Lewis. The murder case was just icing on the cake.

Really ... Emmit Smith? I've never heard of anyone outside of college banter hating on him.

Overrated and benefited from the best Oline in NFL history.

Surprised that I haven't seen Mayweather more in this thread. Anyhow good riddance to him and hope his retirement is permanent. Although I have no doubt with the way he spends money that he'll be back to unretire a few times. Ultimately to end up old, broke, and destitute.

You can bet your house that Mayweather will be back to break Marciano's record.  This whole "retirement" angle was just a way to trick people into paying to watch him fight a tomato can.

Hell Spider, every fight he has is a trick to get people to pay to watch his boring fights against tomato cans. I cannot for the life of me understand how people pay "over and over" for his fights. Boxing needs a complete overhaul, rule system like other sports, and one sanctioning body. Fighters like mayweather should be required to fight real contenders instead of cherry picking opponents and pocketing a fortune of a lifetime.

The worst is when you have one of those players and they come to a team you like. Dwight Howard was one of those for me. I'm a Lakers fan and I knew signing him would be a terrible mistake.

Thats how I felt When LeBron came to Miami.... I told people he is not going to stay in Miami.  Looky I was Right  Grin

Kind of hard to hate a player who leaves after helping to give you some championships. LOL ... I'd been pissed if he left after not doing anything which is what typically happens to the Dolphins.

Brady is a great quarterback and a great person.

What I don't like is how people say is the best of all time simply because he has four super bowl rings

In reality Peyton Manning and Tom Brady have very similar quarterback ratings.

Also the support Brady has gotten in the playoffs far exceeds the support many other quarterbacks have gotten.

Somebody pointed this stat out to me after the first Patriots Giants Super Bowl

Brady is 5-2 in playoff games in which his quarterback rating is below 80.

I wonder what that number is now.

This past postseason, he threw costly interceptions in all three games.
