They announce who got into the Baseball HOF this week,Alot of hub-bub about some writers voting for the PED guys.

So who do you want to get in? Who do you think will get in?

What are your thoughts in general on this years possible HOF class?

Ken Griffey jr.  (The most natural baseball talent I've ever seen)
Trevor Hoffman (Go Padres!)
Pete Rose (Long overdue for his place in the hall)
Edgar Martinez
Mike Piazza

I'm a lifelong Padres fan, and Ken Griffey jr is #2 on my all-time favorite player list behind only - you guessed it - Tony Gwynn.

I also count myself extremely fortunate to live in Seattle and be a semi-season ticket holder (4 of us split seats) for Junior's entire time there. The sweetest swing, and the most natural running stride, whether he was on the basepaths or tracking down a ball in the outfield. Ken Griffey jr was straight-up baseball magic.

I'm hoping hometown boy Tim Raines makes it in. According to the latest stats it looks close.

I just realized David Eckstein is up as well ... another hometown boy. 2 World Series rings, one World Series MVP and 2 time all-star but I don't see him ever getting in. Nice guy, super family, but he isn't getting in to the HOF.

Mike Mussina
Ken Griffey, Jr.
Pete Rose (partially so I won't have to listen to the never ending debate)

Anyone who didn't vote for Griffey deserves to lose their vote. The old timers use the old "Babe Ruth wasn't a unanimous choice, so no one should be" when leaving off obvious guys like this, but it just goes to show how out of touch they are.

Griffey hits 800 Homeruns if he stayed healthy. Piazza hits 800 if he exclusively plays 1B. Both are very deserving and it's a joke that Piazza waited this long just because he played during the steroid era and never failed a test.
