She does the laundry.  It is complicated.  She separates clothes, has different drying requirements for different garments.  He  has simpler laundering needs.

When she does the laundry, she does all of it.  There are additional steps that might include additional drying, separating, etc.
When he does the laundry, he removes only his clothes, folds them and is done with it.

She expects him to know by now and take the extra effort to accommodate her laundry.
He feels that her methods are overly complicated, so just deals with his own stuff.

She should stop doing his laundry.

You could reverse him and her for my household. I've stopped washing my clothes with the rest of the family after having one too many new shirts ruined by velcro or some other crap. My clothes also don't get as dirty or smelly as the kids clothes, so I wash my stuff with a milder detergent, at a lower temperature, and a shorter wash cycle. Underwear, socks, and the like still go in the joint laundry, but I don't want my wife doing my stuff, cause she will inevitably mess it up.

As for separating clothes, we use small mesh laundry bags for all the really delicate stuff. That seems to help a lot.

I am going to side with him. Womans clothes have all sorts of different settings or else they get ruined.

Not quite sure what I'm voting on. Whether or not he should do her laundry? If that's the case then I say no and I voted him. She wants it done her way, she should do it. But then if she says she's only doing her laundry and not his, I'm fine with that. I prefer to do my own laundry, but my wife does it anyway.

They each should do their own stuff but help each other fold and put away

Him.  Last time I did the laundry she almost killed me because I put something of hers in the dryer and almost ruined it.

This is another "mesh laundry bag" advantage. Only delicate stuff goes in them, so when you fill the dryer, just remove the mesh bags and hang the contents to dry instead. Makes it a lot easier to keep track of stuff.

When I had a live in girlfriend I did all the laundry. Don't mess my stuff up.
