I actually like the idea Armando Salguero is suggesting (but agree I can't see the NFL doing it,I'd imagine it means refunding tickets already sold, etc, etc).Instead of the Dolphins Playing in London against the Saints, moving the game back to Miami, giving us 8 home games.

Don't see that happening.  And does said proposal include reopening the bid process for the Super Bowl LIV?

As I predicted for the reasons I gave.

Please you said NFL will only do things for money. Then when I threw Jets-Bills in your face you flip-flopped and said that wasn't moved there for money and backpedaled. Like a certain politician you took every side of the issue then when whatever happened you claimed victory. Whatever, this will just go back and forth forever as you won't admit you flip-flopped. Unless you want to keep the back and forth going I'm willing to drop it.

Miami has a 3 or 4 year window to play a game in London. It didn't have to be this year

It makes sense but will never happen. Too much money tied up in that London game right now. Plus they want to move a team over there full time soon and pulling this game will kill the London market and upset a fan base the NFL wants right now.

I didn't back peddle.  I said that when the NFL has a choice of doing two things they will choose the one that makes them the most money over the option that creates the fairest/best situation.  The example you have they didn't have an option of getting rid of the bye week, it was too late in the season for any other option.

Playing the game in NYC (and screwing over the Bills) would have been the most money. The NFL had an option they didn't take the money option they went to Detroit.

All things considered I think they made the right move.  I hate to see the Dolphins lose the mid year bye, especially after returning from London; but having them play this week's game at another site would have been a big headache.  Not to mention the players and all the staff worrying about their homes and families.

Stay safe Floridians.
