You are attempting to define "success" precisely in a way to bash the Dolphins.  So because many of the players on this list either won a playoff game or a division title (or both) with the Dolphins, neither of those things are considered a "success."  No, instead it's precisely "lose a conference championship game" that is held up as the "success" that has eluded the Dolphins lo these many years.

He was only great in two systems with two great quarterbacks and two immense supporting casts.  With the Rams he went back to serviceable.

With Miami in 2006 he was good, maybe very good.

Again, he is the exception because for the Patriots to make the playoffs this year over Miami is the most pathetic thing in the world.

For starters two former Dan Marino award winners who went on to get Super Bowl rings...  Jay Ajayi (RB) and Ndamukong Suh (NT).

You could also throw in Damien Williams (RB) and Chad Henne (backup QB) for the Chiefs SB winning squad.

That said, I can't really see the point of this whole thread. Players change teams all the time, some happen to find success in other colors, and some don't.

Often there's an ex-Dolphin on a successful team, but are they usually themselves better players than they were here? I'd argue it's rare that they are (Welker being a notable one).
