I can think of two INSANELY IDIOTIC THINGS that I've done.

1) Not setting up a 401k at the store as soon as I started working there.  I didn't know I was allowed to until I saw it flash on the board in the break room five years later.

2) Not getting a credit card as soon as I could. I used debit until this year.  I just got my first bonus today.  That's probably ten grand I flushed down the toilet by using debit all these years.

I wouldn't beat yourself up about either of these things.  You're young, you have lots of time.  Do it now, though, so that the money works for you.

I've been wracking my brain and I can't really think of anything incredibly stupid that I've done in my life that I would go back and reverse.  Things didn't always work out, but I made the best choices with the info I had at the time.  I'm generally a pretty measured guy who doesn't do stupid things.

I renewed HEAT tickets one year longer than I should have.  That was dumb, I guess.

Talking to a guy who had season tickets during the 1-15 season ... remember? hahaha

I've done a lot of dumb things. I had a felony arrest when I was a teen but the dumbest things I've ever done I've seemingly gotten away with. We used to ride our motorcycles to the beach at well over 100 mph and run the center line because we "knew" cars would move over. Nothing beats fear and common sense like some good ole young testosterone.

All law enforcement interactions. In the drunk tank a few times. Once I was charged with a BS felony that was later dismissed.

Exactly...this.

Dumb thing #1: Accidentally pissed on an electric fence at a kegger party in High School

Dumb thing #2: Turned my back on a grazing bull in a field once, and got knocked into a "completely different field." This also explains my abnormally humongous respect for rodeo clowns...
