It's finally happened, the second round pick bust and good friend of Grier's son in College has finally been given his marching orders.

It's not like he hadn't enough chances, and he certainly had enough of a warning before the season started.

If there was any time for him to step up, it should have been now with a surrounding secondary that's patchy at best. He couldn't. Fangio was right all along.

Seems like he was a "me" guy instead of a "team" guy; when you haven't yet proven yourself in the NFL that's a recipe for failure.  Probably should have been gone a year or two ago.

Agreed.   Like JJ once said, "This isn't college, it's a job.   You had a four year scholarship in college.   Here, it's day to day.   I could revoke your scholarship tomorrow"
