Has the Jets ever worn their Titans throw backs when playing Tenn?

How about the Ravens wearing Browns throwbacks against the Browns. lol

That would not be allowed.  The Raven's don't own the rights to Browns, the current Browns have the records etc from the old Browns.

IMO if you BOTH change cities and change mascot names, THEN the past franchise doesn't exist anymore.

Here's the rub though, the team played two seasons with the name Tennessee Oilers. While Moon never played for Tennessee, the Oilers were certainly playing in that city so their history and records belong to that city. This isn't a Seattle Super Sonics (sorry Spider) scenario.

Legally and contractually impossible.   When the Browns moved to Baltimore, they agreed to become the Ravens and be labeled as an expansion team that began operations in 1996.   They agreed to leave any and all property and records of the Browns in Cleveland.   The official record books will say that the Cleveland Browns ceased operations at the end of the 1995 season and resumed operations at the start of the 1999 season.

I think that if teams leave the state, they should have to rebrand and start as an expansion franchise.

It just feels like a token handover... if he doesn't wear #1 in an old Oilers uniform.

Part of me just doesn't give a shit. The Oilers were dead when they moved from the Astrodome decades ago.
