The Colts - NEP game ended in a very unlucky tie of 13-13 after four quarters.

I recall in the past coaching going for it on fourth down instead of kicking a field goal or going for 2 instead of a PAT to avoid ties.

It's been gone for a while.  No reason to go into OT in the preseason as there doesn't have to be a winner.   These games are friendlies and all going into OT will do is put guys at risk of getting hurt.
