I'm unsure whether this thread should go here or in "Around the NFL" but, if you knew that we were guarenteed one of the two, which would you rather have?

Cutler... Brees is a solid QB, but Cutler is taller, younger and has a stronger arm. I'll take either as an upgrade, but if I had the choice, I'd take Cutler and never look back.

I'd take Cutler as well, just because of the age factor.

(and yes, this is the right place to post it, since you were questioning a Dolphins related move)

After watching the love-fest on the NFL channel, I'd take Cutler over Marino!  Tongue

Cutler is reminding me Philip Rivers.  Late in the 2003 season it looked like Rivers would be available for Miami.... possibly even in the 2nd or 3rd round by some estimates.  As April approached he shot up the draft boards and became a Dolfan pipe dream.

I'd take brees anyday, on the condition that his shoulder is healthy.

Brees in a heartbeat..I've seen it on the field, in the NFL..plus he is ready to play right away, Cutler will sit behind Gus

Ryan Lief was great in the combine as well.
