My lovely wife and I recently spent a weekend up there at a bed and breakfast located in the historic district. We had an awesome time and reccomend it to anyone looking for a romantic get away.

The B&B had a double jacuzzi tub in our room which made for some great bath time! Shocked the place was supposedly haunted but everything in St. Augustine is as well! We went on two seperate ghost hunts throughout the city.  It's amazing the number of ghosts a city can attract in 500 years or so. If walking through graveyards at night is your thing then I suggest you take the plunge!

We also visited many of the historic sites including the Castille De San Marcos, the first schoolhouse and several of the historic pubs. Being black history month we learned quite a bit about how St. Augustine was instrumental in allowing the first free black settlement in the new world at Fort Mesa.  But my personal favorite part of the weekend was the couple's massage we received which was very cool!!!

Anyway, I thought I would check in and post a few pics!

Angry Indians faces at night on the Fort!

Where did this face on this tombstone come from?  Spooky!!!!

I'll post more later if anyone is interested... gotta run!  Grin
