Do the Blue Jays expect us to believe that there is NO ONE in their farm system who can put up an ERA under 9? If they got rid of Towers after the first 5 games and they may be in first place.

I give credit to the Diamondbacks for realizing that Ortiz was killing their team and dumping him. More teams need to realize this. What's worse:

A) Player making big money who makes you lose games when he plays

B) Player making big money getting cut or sent to minors so he doesn't make you lose games

The money is already gone and it's not coming back, so why further cripple your team?
