The Miami Dolphins today waived/injured wide receiver Tab Perry, who sustained a torn Achilles’ tendon on Saturday, May 24.

I feel like were not keeping these guys who are injured, because of the 80 man roster limits this year..in years past we got exemptions for NFL Europe guys, and we don't get them any more...

Perry was nothing special, anyways.  I feel bad for the guy, but it's not a huge loss.

Come on guys.  A player for your team just got injured and probably lost his career and you are kicking him while he is down.

Personally, I feel bad for the guy and wish him the best.  Although I never got to see him play for Miami, I can appreciate the fact that he sustained an unfortunate injury while trying to be apart of our team.

With that said, I think I can remember watching him in a few games with the Bengals and thought he was a pretty good player that just hadn't made a name.  If Parcells and company thought that he would improve our team than I must also give him some credit for impressing someone that is classically hard to impress.

Good luck Tab!

Tab Perry with the Bengals reminded me of Fred Banks back in the late 80's and early 90's with the Dolphins.  A better-than-average receiver who just couldn't stay healthy.  He's been plagued with injury problems throughout his entire career.  They reached an injury settlement with him.
