The popular meaning of words / combinations of letters changes all the time. As long as no one is FORCED to exchange their license plates, I have no problem with this.

You dont have to look very hard. WTF has had that meaning for a long time. Hell there was even a movie in the early 90's called WTF and the lead character said what the fuck an ugodly amount of times.
A friend of mine just lost his plate because it said UFNWISH. He laughed and enjoyed it while it lasted.
