CF, I think you're forgetting one part of the equation. You're only increasing the number of workers, but you're failing to account for the increase in work needed because there are more people to service.
Also, the cheap labor (which is unattainable from American workers) allows businesses to save money and create more jobs in other areas.
To say that more workers = lower employment is a gross oversimplification, especially since immigrants require less pay.
