Apparently the Padres came away with a serious haul on the first day of MLB's international signing period today. SD landed 4 of the top-10 rated latin american prospects, and the top australian. Looks like that new training center in the DR is paying dividends already. Anything that helps build up the talent on the farm is all good in my book, so I am happy to see some more excellent prospects come aboard. Lord knows we haven't had much else to cheer for this season.

God they stink. That entire division should be aboished from MLB and put into Triple A.

Can't disagree.  Although I was wrong about San Diego, I was right about Arizona.  They aren't good.
