Sorry Dave, this is just normal civility. If someone says something you don't understand then you simply ask the person to explain it. Being attacked and called an asshole from every direction here is not exactly gonna open up my dialoge any. I guess I should have know better from the way past discussions have gone here. Worst thing I ever did was letting my employment known. Talk about a hanging jury.  I can't even express an honest opinon here without being surrounded by Indains......opps......did I make another racial reference?  

Don't forget if you throw a Christian perspective in there certain members act the same way. This site allows people who agree with their point of view to attack and call names to those who do not agree with their liberal believes.

Simeon, i'm sorry you feel that way but its blatantly false.  We, as a team, are very liberal compared to other forums, and we let a lot of stuff go, whether we agree or not.

Dave I think you have the right to run the board as you see fit, and yes I feel that way and have mentioned in many post the lack of tolerence especially from certain members. I have been thinking of leaving the board and I have been private messaging a few members about this problem and they agreed with me. I realize people can call you dumb, stupid and foolish because you believe creation is scientific and your faith is not relevant for off topic discussion. But I have never said you are doing a terrible job, I honestly believe you have the right to promote your agenda, and if I don't like it I can leave.

True Brian but I don't call the members names of here and I agree we all have different opinions. But it's impossible with certain members to hold a civil conversation. I support everyone's rights, but the balance have been off, if I have been intolerent with any member I would welcome you to send me that message where I was intolerent to any member on here so I can view it and if I was wrong I will appologize to that person myself. Enough said let's move on.

While i don't agree with everything he says I do agree Christianity is "mocked" on here quite regularly. that is far from disagreed with.  I can't think of anything else that is so easily attacked. Even if it's just a point of view many mock Christianity instead of disagreeing with the point.  There is a big difference between saying I disagree because ... vs. oh here we go again with another mythological story about ....

i'm not going to disagree with that .. christianity is mocked here .. and so is religion in general .. and conservative politics .. but what do you expect from liberal atheists ..  by the same token .. you will never have posts that mock or attack someone's lack of faith .. or liberal policies .. or heresy moderated .. you're free to attack ideas, policies, concepts or beliefs

They are one in the same.  If you had any beliefs you would understand.  Dave and Brian were talking about being fair and that is what I repsonded to. I'm used to the biased comments and heckling for the most part but  again ... disagreeing and mocking are two different things. Mocking is a direct personal attack on a person.

Tell that to Budda Girl. Not only was I attacked Dave kinda agreed with her and said that it was called for.  I should have known better or should explain myself. She then went way overboard with racist comments herself. Is this the way its gonna be If Obama's elected?  Is this gonna be the great Payback for every minority that feels wronged? Me? I just want the economy Turned around ...............I could almost hear her snapping her fingers and clicking her neck back like a chicken when she made her ignorant uncalled for attacks. But that's cool Because she's in the Clique right?
