Wow...maybe it is just an insurance policy in case Betts' knee injury turns out to be worse than expected.

How could Washington NOT be happy with Portis this season? Kid Bro Sweets is leading the entire league in rushing yards (107 per game) and has 6 TDs already.

You could take any guy off of a practice squad and he'd have a 1000 yd season behind any offensive line in the NFL. All you have to do is average 62.5 yds a game. If you got 20 carries a game, all you have to do is average 3 yds a carry.
