Wow, what a great game.

I disagree with you Frimp.  I like it when the refs do that.  I like it when they confer and pick up flags, and most importantly, get the calls right, which I think they did most of the night.  Plus, you learn a lot of the little intricacies of the rules.

You're right. I was more frustrated with all the penalties to begin with.

I think that last play was a really bonehead call by Singletary...But, I do think he's going to be a good coach. I hope they keep him after the season.

HORRIBLE PLAY CALL!!!

Clearly Singletary didn't watch the Eagles games on primetime earlier this season

I was fine with the play call.  You should be able to run for 2 yards, rather than put the ball in the hands of an inexperienced QB who'd thrown to the other team like 5-6 times that night.

It looks bad, only because it didn't work.  (and Gore was hurt and tired, I think)

I was pretty unamused with the play call...and completely pissed off that it took 25 seconds to get to the line and spike the ball prior to that last play.

Shaun Hill isn't the 49ers answer at QB, despite his display of toughness last night. JT O'Sullivan isn't either. SF needs to either go after a quality FA veteranQB or spend a high pick on a top draft prospect, because I am tired of watching us lose games because we don't have shit for QB.

I was not able to watch this game, and had to follow the play-by-play on the NFL web site.

I was elated by AZ's interception, concerned when they were unable to convert a first with 2nd-and-2, utterly disgusted when SF moved 42 yards in 3 plays, and then relieved when the 49ers proved to want the loss just a little more than the Cardinals.

With 7 games to go, MIA is 5-4 and SF is 2-7.  I'm well on the road to $100, but the SF@MIA game looms in the distance.  If we lose that, it will come down to the wire.

Tim Tebow would fit very well in this type of offense.

The end of the game was an absolute travesty to professional football. I have never seen such poor execution of the simple act of spiking the football in my life.
