I went back and finished up the Orange Box, beating Half Life 2: Episode 2.   The ending is pretty emotional.  They do a great job building character relationships in that game.

X360:
I picked up Oblivion again.  I was pretty frustrated where I left off about six months ago (really early in the game.)  There's so much room to just wander around aimlessly.  I went online and read an FAQ to get through my first major quest.  Once I got back on track and remembered how the game worked, I was able to move forward a little bit.  We'll see how long that lasts.

I also will probably be playing Left 4 Dead or Gears of War 2 multiplayer at some point during the week if my friends are online.

PS3:
Nothing.  I have gotten enough of Little Big Planet, not to feel compelled to do more with it.  I should beat the last level, but there's one really hard part and I keep dying.  I don't really want to put a bunch of time into it.  I beat MGS4 and didn't feel the urge to keep it around.  So, nothing there...for now.

Wii:
Nothing.  It's back in my house, but there's nothing really drawing me.  I'd like to go finish the last level of Super Mario Galaxy at some point, but I just am not that interested in any games on the system at the moment.

DS:
Kirby's Canvas Curse - I've been playing a level or two before bed here and there.  It's pretty fun.

On the horizon:
I've decided to pony up and buy Burnout Paradise when I get to the game store.  I'm also considering Civilization: Revolution.  But only if I can find them for $20 or less.  There are a lot of games coming out that I'm probably going to play at some point, but I don't have to have all of them when they're brand spanking new, including Resident Evil 5, Killzone 2, and Street Fighter 4.

I've been playing Fifa 09 .. i get into the same rhythm with all the fifa games
1 - i play a few seasons with FC Porto in the Portuguese league
2 - i decide to start a team in managers mode with the crappiest english 4th division team i can find .. last year it was torquay .. this year it's Notts County .. and try to build them into a powerhouse .. right now they're in the english premier league and in 2nd place in the standings.
3 - then i go online and play

i've also been playing fallout 3 on the PC .. it's a fun game .. and a bit hard .. i like the targeting system in the game .. as well as the story behind it

Is it true that the game is now at reduced cost?  I want to try this one myself.

I am playing Left 4 Dead right now and LOVING IT.

I am playing Oblivion too, Dave! I really like it though.  I too find it frustrating that you can wander all over hell.  I have learned to love the fast travel function!

We just got the 360 for Christmas, so we have a lot of things to play.  I have also been playing Tomb Raider: Underworld and we bought GTA 4 and Halo 3.  We haven't played either of those yet.

Last I saw, Orange Box was $20.  It's made by the same team that makes Left 4 Dead.  The two will feel very familiar in terms of graphics, controls, and feeling.  Also, Orange Box has Portal, which is 5 hours of coolness.

I'm just not used to games like this.  You can do whatever you want, really, so it's kind of daunting to learn so many things at once.  I decided to screw it and just go bust people up with a sword and shield.  I turned down the difficulty, because I had trouble even beating the smallest little grunts at the beginning.

I haven't used the fast travel function yet.  I'll have to figure out how to do that.

Hey Dave, if you're looking for a good PS3 game, you should try Valkyria Chronicles.  It is a RPG tactics game with amazing graphics and an in depth story line.  I usually don't like tactics games, but I read a lot of good reviews and gave it a shot.  It's a pretty good game.

I haven't used the fast travel function yet.  I'll have to figure out how to do that.

Once you travel to a place on foot, you will be able to fast travel there in the future.  You look at your map and run the pointer over it.  When you do, push A and you can fast travel.  You can't travel from within a building or anything though, you have to be outside.

Brian's Stalker, how far along are you?

I just had a dude from the dark brotherhood ask me to go murder someone to get into his club.  I think I'm going to do it.  First, I have to deal with an amulet thing, though.
