Dolphins have lost both LB coaches this week

Surprised no one has commented or posted on this. Both the ILB's and OLB's coaches are now gone.

-OLB coach Jim Reid has left to become the defensive coordinator for the University of Virginia
- ILB coach George Edwards is leaving to become the University of Florida's defensive coordinator.

Considering this unit did not perforfm well this year, a good solid LB coach would be a plus for this team.

Although it is definitely possible we are taking their loss for granted, it is hard to fault us for not seeing the fruits of their labor.  In short, our linebacker play was nothing special the last two years.

I guess I am having a difficult time telling whether our primary issues at linebacker are talent related our scheme related.  Either way, the coaching wasn't enough to get them performing at a level that 3-4 linebackers need to perform at in the NFL.
