I'm not sure what this means for us, in terms of the product on the field but he was a long time exec here, and now he's going to be the Executive VP of Business Operations.

He made the final decisions on player personnel for a long time.  I remember ethurst talking about this in several threads.  He might do a good job in a BUSINESS sense, but you need a FOOTBALL guy at the top to handle player personnel.  His expertise is in marketing. 

I hope for the sake of the Browns franchise that he will not handle on the field matters.

I've got no beef with him.  We never had a problem in Miami with contracts and from a business standpoint, they were always making strides to do better -- with stadium, practice facility, free agents.  Best of luck to him.

If I remeber correctly he was Wayne's guy. I'm sure he has been pushed aside with the new owner and this new Hollywood East thing we have going.
