I have to ask, why do you have to go somewhere to get quiet? ...For me my home is my castle, my sanctuary, the one place I have a limited control of how quiet it is...Minus the white trash homeless drunks walking down the alley, the Inbred neighbors dogs....(yes I think the neighbor is inbred, not the dogs) Just curious...

When I'm working on something I really don't want to be working on (read: homework) I will find anything else to do to avoid it. Washing the dishes, walking the dog, sleeping, scrubbing the floors...anything. If I go somewhere like a library I'm kind of forced to handle the task at hand.

For those of us with kids, I can answer that question.
